Buy-Back Program Terms & Conditions
At VIIV Boutique, we are committed to reducing waste and promoting sustainability in the jewelry industry. That’s why we’ve introduced the VIIV Boutique Sustainable Buy-Back Program the (“Buy-Back Program”) to give your jewelry a second life and offer our valued customers the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable, socially-conscious and eco-friendly approach.
Eligibility:
The VIIV Boutique Buy-Back Program is available to all VIIV Boutique customers.
To participate, customers must send an email to info@VIIVBoutique.com and include:
- Three (3) photos of the item(s) taken from different angles and one (1) photo must clearly display the front of the jewelry.
- The order number (“Order Number”) indicated on your receipt for the item, provided by VIIV Boutique when you purchased the item.
By submitting an item, customers agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. All submissions become the property of VIIV Boutique and will not be returned.
Assessment:
Each submission will be assessed by our VIIV Boutique Sustainability team.
If, in our sole discretion, the submitted item is eligible for the Buy-Back Program, it will be assigned a quote based on the condition of the item and its original purchase value associated with the Order Number (the “Assessment“).
The Assessment will be valid for a period of 30 days. After the 30 day period has terminated if the item has not been received by VIIV Boutique the Assessment will no longer be valid and a new submission must be completed.
The Assessment for the item will be in the form of store credit that can only be used at VIIV Boutique.
Acceptance of Item to the Buy-Back Program:
Allow 5-10 business days for an Assessment, you will be notified if your item has been accepted and the amount for the Assessment.
You will be provided with a (1) shipping label to return the item to VIIV Boutique.
Transmitting an Eligible Item to the Buy-Back Program:
To accept the offer, transmit the eligible item(s) to VIIV Boutique within 30 days of the acceptance date.
Customers must provide the VIIV Boutique Order Number, and their contact details for record-keeping.
Item Submitted without Confirmation of Acceptance or in Error:
At no point, should an item be submitted to VIIV Boutique without confirmation of acceptance from VIIV Boutique and an Assessment.
In the event an item is returned without confirmation of acceptance from VIIV Boutique or by error, the customer accepts that the item becomes the property of VIIV Boutique and will not be returned.
In the event an item is returned without confirmation of acceptance or in error, VIIV Boutique is under no obligation to provide the customer with a credit for the item.
In-Store Credit:
Upon physical inspection by VIIV Boutique staff, if the item meets the eligibility criteria, customers will receive an in-store credit equivalent to the Assessment of the item(s).
In the event the item(s) does not match the photos provided for the Assessment, or does not meet the eligibility criteria, VIIV Boutique may refuse to accept the item(s) and/or modify the Assessment price.
Eligibility Criteria:
The following categories of jewelry are currently eligible for the VIIV Boutique Buy-Back Program:
- Necklaces
- Earrings
- Bracelets
- Pendants
- Rings in standard sizing and subject to the discretion of VIIV Boutique and in accordance with the conditions indicated below.
To be eligible for the VIIV Boutique Buy-Back Program, all items must:
- Be in resalable condition
- Be free of significant damage that is beyond repair
- Be originally purchased from VIIV Boutique
- Not have been modified or significantly changed from their original state
Items that are not eligible for the Buy-Back Program include, but are not limited to the following:
- Items that are special orders
- Items that are customized or engraved
- Items that do not otherwise meet the criteria of eligibility
- Rings in non-standard sizing at the discretion of VIIV Boutique as indicated below.
We reserve the right to refuse any rings for in the Buy-Back Program at the sole discretion of VIIV Boutique regardless of whether they are standard sizing or not. VIIV Boutique may determine at any point that a ring is not eligible for the Buy-Back program.
VIIV Boutique may remove rings or any other item as an eligible item in the Buy-Back Program and modify the conditions of eligibility or non-eligibility at any time without prior notice.
Purchases through the Buy-Back Program
Items purchased through the Buy-Back Program are subject to the VIIV Boutique Terms and Conditions.
Returns
Items purchased through the Buy-Back Program are not eligible for return, but can be submitted to the Buy-Back Program in accordance with the terms herein.
General Terms:
These terms and conditions are supplementary to and do not affect the VIIV Boutique Return Policy, the Terms and Conditions of Use and the VIIV Boutique Privacy Policy.
VIIV Boutique reserves the right to modify or terminate the Buy-Back Program at any time without prior notice.
VIIV Boutique may request valid identification before accepting items for inspection.
In-store credit is the only form of payment provided for accepted items and can be used at VIIV Boutique only.
VIIV Boutique may, in its sole discretion, determine if an item is eligible for the Buy-Back Program and makes no guarantee that an item will be accepted even if all eligibility criteria are met.
VIIV Boutique reserves the right to suspend the Buy-Back Program at its sole discretion in the event that too many items are available for resell, or for any other reason determined by VIIV Boutique.
VIIV Boutique is not responsible if you rely on the availability of any product at any time or as to the ability for the product to be shipped or available within a specific delay.
VIIV Boutique cannot guarantee that we will receive items submitted to VIIV Boutique through the Buy-Back Program and offers no guarantee or warranty that items submitted through the Buy-Back Program will be received. VIIV Boutique is not responsible for any items submitted through the Buy-Back Program that are lost or delayed.
